This beautiful home is located in Playacar Phase I, two blocks from the beach and 10 minute walk to downtown Playa del Carmen. The owners have just added a third story with a bedroom and bathroom.

This is a three-story house with ground floor terrace, second floor wraparound balcony and the 2d bedroom on the 3d floor. The ground floor includes the living room, dining area, full kitchen, and full bath. The second floor includes the bedroom, full bath, sitting area and balcony. The third floor has a brand new bedroom and bathroom . The rooftop has been nicely arranged to let you relax and enjoy the view of the ocean.

It is important to note that there is no independant entrance to the 2d bedroom. One needs to go by the master bedroom to access the stairway. There is a big folding screen that offers privacy ( please look at the pictures) but we recommend this house for a family with children or people who don't mind the lack of full privacy.

The small pool is surrounded by luxuriant vegetation which offer privacy.Water cascading some artfully placed rocks add beauty and the relaxing sound of water.

I also wanted to say thank you for all of your correspondence leading up to our stay.  You have been a pleasure to work with, and I cannot express how absolutely pleased we are with Casa Cascada and Playa del Carmen in general.  It breaks my heart to see what this ridiculous flu-scare has done to the local economy, and we hope that things will be back to normal within the next week or so.  We are so glad that we didn't listen to our family and friends who were afraid for us and just used our own common sense.  We would have missed out on the most wonderful honeymoon ever!
